Time at NSS:
"The academic support and flexibility at NSS allowed me to excel as a student athlete. With the support of my teachers, coaches and family, I was able to graduate on time, gain acceptance to a highly competitive undergraduate program and earn a spot on the provincial ski team. My experience at NSS has undoubtedly played an integral role in my career path since graduating.
NSS is able to provide a flexible academic schedule that can accommodate any sport. As an alpine skier, I was away from the classroom for up to 100 days per year. The ability to take work on the road, enroll in summer classes and schedule examinations around competitions not only allowed me to stay up to date with curriculum, but also gave me the essential study habits to be successful in post-secondary education.
The program at NSS does not only prepare student athletes to reach their full potential in their chosen sports, but also prepares them for academic and professional success beyond their athletic careers. I am grateful for the support I received as an NSS student."
