- If course changes are required they will be managed once school starts. Grade 12s are managed first.
- Schedules are subject to change; adjustments to timetables and class size is continually ongoing throughout the summer.

First Day of Classes
Our first day of classes is Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, and the school office is open to parents on Tuesday, August 29-September 1st from 8:30 AM- 3:00 PM.
The first day of classes, September 5th, will be a staggered entry that day. Semester schedules will be shared on the first day of school.
Tours, introductions, and general information will be shared with students during these orientation sessions.
Students are only expected to attend as scheduled below.

School Start & End Times
Our bell times are 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM (Monday to Thursday).
Our bell times for Fridays are 8:30 AM to 1:10 PM.

There are multiple ways to report absences at NSS:
1. Preferred method: The Edsby App. (invites for the application will be issued in the fall of 2023-2024). Please check your email for this invite.

School Supplies
Grade 9 through 12 students usually bring paper, pencils, pens, calculators, rulers and binders for the beginning of the school year. Suggested graphing calculator for high school math and sciences is the TI-84(Texas Instruments). Chromebooks are available in the classrooms at NSS for daily student use.
Grade 8s are asked to bring the following:
- 20 HB Pencils
- 1 Calculator (with square root capabilities)
- 2 Packages of Lined Paper
- 1 Pencil Crayons
- 2 Black Pens
- 2 Blue Pens
- 2 Red Pens
- 1 Geometry set
- 2 Binders (1 for Humanities, 1 Science/Math)
- 2 Notebooks
- 1 Ruler
- 1 Sharpener
- 1 Gluestick
- 5 Duotangs for Humanities
Staffing Announcements
Office Administration: Ms. Carrie Hubbard and Ms. Rebecca Biever are the Administrative Assistants at the National Sport School and David Spitznagel, WinSport Liaison and Fee Administrator.
